DG Nancy Ottwell Visit Commemorated with Special Awards
We commemorate the DG's Official Visit with Four Special Presentations
What an exciting meeting!! Last Thursday our newly minted District Governor, Nancy Ottewell, made her official visit to our club. To commemorate this unique opportunity to meet and greet our DG we had 4 special presentations.
1. Rob Lawton was presented with a Paul Harris Fellowship from our club to honour him for his years of support for our club;
2. Past Secretary Alison Buchanan was awarded a club Service Above Self award;
3. Current Secretary, Kevin Webb, was awarded a club Service Above Self award; and,
4. The club presented a certificate of thanks to Gilles Blais of Farm Boy for their very generous donation of food to our June community barbecue

Kevin Webb, Coordinator for the June Community Barbecue presents a certificate of thanks to Gilles Blais, Manager of the Beaverbrook Rd. Farm Boy store for their generous donation of hotdogs; hamburgers and sausages to this community building event. Unfortunately, Gilles was unable to attend but the certificate was presented to Gilles at his Farm Boy store later that morning.
