2019 FRENCH Wine & Food Pairing Fundraiser

at West Haven was another resounding success.

 

The sale of raffle tickets with the help of our 3 high school students Rhea, Ella and Hunter,

a spectacular room full of auction items,

the Parisian music provided by Peter Warcholyk

and of course the excellent food and wine all contributed to an evening of fun, good company and good food.

 

Chef Darrell outdid himself with the choice of French dishes that went so well with the wines provided by Malcolm.

As Malcolm told us, French wines are intended to be consumed with food.

Each dish prepared by the kitchen staff was indeed a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

Jen and her wait staff did a super job getting the dishes to our guests in a timely fashion-in spite of having an extra table of 8.

Even the weather cooperated.  

 

None of this would have been possible without our sponsors, our donors of raffle prizes and auction items, West Haven staff, our volunteers and of course our ticket holders.

We will present a report once all of the expenses have been looked after.
