2015 Citizenship Award

2015 RC London Hyde Park Citizenship Award

Each year the Rotary club of London Hyde Park awards a Citizenship Award to a student at Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School who demonstrates an excellence in scholarship and community service that is helping make our community a better place to live. The recipient of this award is selected by the high school in accordance with the club's selection criteria. The award includes a plaque and cheque for $500.

This year's worthy recipient is: Rayan El-Kotob

Sue Storie, Vocational Committee Chair, received the following email from Rayan's mother:

I would like to thank you and all the members of the Hyde Park RC for the plaque and cheque. My husband just picked them up from the school. Rayan, my daughter, is now in Vancouver, at UBC, in the engineering program.
