On June 7, 2014 we hosted our second Spring Tea with this year's theme being "Victorian" and holding it at Fanshawe Pioneer Village in their new Spriet Family Centre. Half of the proceeds from this event went to the Village's "Storefronts Reconstruction Project" that will, upon completion, be the permanent home for the Rotary Office display circa 1915.

Hyde Park Business Association is very excited and proud to announce that Pond Fest is coming up on June 9. Come on out to 1695 Hyde Park Road, on June 9th from 2-6PM, where we will be unveiling the 5th Community Outdoor Piano. As the event continues to get bigger and bigger year after year, we have decided to update the name of the event to Pond Fest and bring in new features that will be fun for the whole family!
This year we are not only celebrating the outdoor piano, it is also Hyde Park’s Bicentennial!! Come out and celebrate Hyde Park’s 200th Birthday along with three different local bands;

As part of its100 year celebration the Rotary club of London organized a family Rotary day at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. The event included the grand opening of the Rotary historical display by RI President Gary Huang; pancake breakfast; tours of the village; and, wagon rides. The weather was cool and damp but this didn't dampen the spirits of over 300 Rotarians and their families that attended this wonderful event.

My Turn to Say Goodbye
This is a bittersweet issue of 'The Bridge' for me - it's the final issue of my year as your District Governor. Mary and I have enjoyed visiting each of our District clubs - getting to know some of you a little bit better. We will miss you.
The strength of our District (and make no mistake, District 6330 is a strong District) lies in our individual Rotarians and Rotary clubs - and the passion we all share for the work that our individual clubs do both in our own communities and internationally.
It has indeed been an honor and a pleasure serving District 6330 during this past year as your District Governor, and although we anticipate taking a bit of a rest, Mary and I will continue to serve in the future.
On June 19 in Chesley, Ontario we pass the baton to DGE Jim Schlatman (and Audrey) who will hit the road running in early July - bringing you the message from RI President Elect Barry Rassin, and challenging you to continue strengthening your clubs.
